I've probably read all 28 of those. I used to love this series when I was a kid. I always liked history, and these books were a fun way to learn about cultures and events I had never heard about as an elementary student. In every book you join Jack and Annie as they go back in time through their magic tree house and learn about the past. In some books they work for (I think ) King Arthur's library or something like that. In those books they go back in time to retrieve a lost story. Some books are more fantasy based than historical based, but they're still a good read fun for almost any age.

Getting your child to experience history in a fun way. they might even find a new passion! The books are also really small with little chapters so it's easy for any beginning reader to read.
