When I think of the Fear Street series, this is the first book that comes to mind. It's one of the more well written books in the series in that the premise feels a bit more mature than the others. It's more of a mystery than a high school thriller.

The basic premise is that Martha, the main character, witnessed something horrible happen. Unfortunately, she can't remember any of it. The book follows her as she slowly pieces the event together with terrifying results.

Anyone who likes a quick, easy read in the mystery genre. All of the R.L. Stine books are good for elementary to high school age students.

The ending is great!

Read more R.L. Stine books. They tend to have that effect on you.

I have a sentimental attachment to the author of this book because he also did the Goosebumps series, which is for the generation below Fear Street level. Goosebumps were the first books that really got me into reading. Stine has a way of keeping a kid's attention because he jumps into the story right away. You don't have to have much of an attention span to finish his books.

I think it's one of the better Fear Street books and it's an interesting read. The ending is great and I've always remembered it even thought it has been years since I read the book.
