The Scorch Trials follows Thomas' trials as he battles to regain his senses after being in the Maze for so long. Finally, he feels that it is all over and the test is complete but it seems that he is so far from the truth he couldn't believe.

When things begin to change in the bunker, he and the Gladers soon come to realise that it's happening all over again only thing time, he knows it's going to be different and that's a terrifying thought.

He loses contact with Teresa and has to keep a strong and sensible head on his shoulders in order to stick with his friends and make it through the 100 miles of Scorch (the wasteland) while battling the elements in just two weeks to get to the Safe Haven. It's a struggle against time to say the least...

This book is good for people who like to read young adult and particularly dystopian.

Thomas' character really drew me in and I felt like I could identify with him in some way. He reacted well in the situation he was thrown into and always kept a level head.

Read the next! Bring on the Death Cure.

Anxious towards the end! I read so much so fast just to know what happened.

Created a very unique and original world, one that both me and Thomas are still trying to figure out.

It's a good read that will have you hanging on until the very end.
