Thomas wakes up in a strange place, knowing nothing but his names. He arrives in a place, completely surrounded by walls and a maze, whose only citizens are teenage boys. Thomas' arrival signals the beginning of the end as the first girl to ever enter arrives and the pressure to solve the maze mounts.

The whole mystery behind how to solve the maze and who Thomas and Teresa really were.

The ending (or was it the epilogue), either way, I didn't like where the next book was leading, so I haven't read it yet. I hate leaving a series unfinished though, so I'm sure I'll read it at some point.

Watch the film. I wanted to know how they had turned the book into the film and what was missing and different.

Slightly annoyed. As I said, the ending really frustrated me.

James Dashner - He has another book series I'm interested in reading known as the Mortality Doctrine. I'm intrigued, so I may read that before continuing with the Maze Runner series.

This is another of those tough to rate ones, like so many dystopian books seem to be. All of them deal with death and I find it difficult to rate the age at which death can be read about.
