A young woman (Katniss Everdeen) gives herself up as tribute to a battle to the death game between the different districts of the world run by one man. there is a feeling of family and trust in the beginning and during the games she even befriends another tribute and they help each other.
As alliances form and people die it gets more intense until Katniss and her male counter part are the only two left alive in the games. They must figure out a way to both win or decide who dies.

This movie was cast perfectly. I thought all the characters really stood out on their own.

It is a great plot. It has danger, romance, family, almost everything you could want from a movie.
