This was an all time classic 'brat pack' film from the 80s starring the likes of Judd Nelson, Ally Sheedy, Molly Ringwald & Emilio Estevez. It stars five students who are given a Saturday detention and as they turn up at 7am, they have nothing in common but by the end of the day, they've beared their souls and come to accept each others differences. The characters come in the form of the nerd, the troublemaker, the jock, the basketcase & the prom queen.

Anyone who likes a teen film and especially the brat pack films. It can be slow moving at first but is a very thoughtful film in places despite it's 'teen' market.
