Summary of this Book...
Ego's clash here big time! Cybil, a determined woman, with a knack for research and background in all things supernatural, meets Gage. A man who's life depended on a set of cards. Gambler through and through, he came to Hawkins Hollow only every seven years, when his blood brothers needed him. A rebel at heart, he didn't like playing by the rules, especially not Cybil's rules. Fate had a hand in their life though, and neither he nor she could resist the attraction they felt for each other. Their family tree lineage connected to each other a long time ago, they faced their uncertain future alongside their friends, heading toward doom and questioning their feelings they had.
I especially liked... | ||
The entire trilogy rocked, in my opinion, because I'm a huge fan of romance mixed with the supernatural, but out the three, I loved the first and the last book the most. Maybe I was able to relate to them the most. However, I wouldn't write off the second book either. There were some really good moments worth the read and the whole journey toward their set date with destiny had been traveled on rough terrain.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Debating what to read next by Nora Roberts.
Further Comments... | ||
I know that I'll miss all six of the characters of this Trilogy. An amazing ride which took you to a small town where unexpected things happen. Loved every minute of it - and it's not easy for a writer to entertain me through 900+ pages of a story. Huge plus for Nora and her writing!
