Those who love horror, and those who don't mind controversial themes, because this book covers several of them.

The depth of this novel. It isn't a standard horror story. It's intelligent, touching, and contains many different layers. There are even references to the Dark Tower series.

Thoughtful, and touched. The story is rather emotional in parts. I liked that. It also made me wonder about the nature of reality, and if there is perhaps more to it than we tend to realise.

Is an intelligent man and a skilled writer. I like that he doesn't underestimate his audience. Too many novels are dumbed down (at least, in my opinion). King doesn't do that. He expects you to be able to keep up.

It is very original. If you like your horror stories straightforward, this isn't for you. But if you like something out of the ordinary, I can recommend this book.

Insomnia isn't a lighthearted read. It also contains quite a few pages. It's one to settle down with, when you are in the mood to explore the world in a different way.
