This is a British detective series that takes place in the 1950's. There is an actual detective and a vicar who helps him solve cases. It is kind of quirky with a lot of humorous remarks and characters thrown into the mix.

We started to watch it once and didn't like it. I don't know why that was, but we decided to give it another try starting with the 2nd episode of this season. The first episode didn't do it for us and besides that Amazon Prime charges for it.

is very good. James Norton as Rev. Sidney Chambers is quite nice to watch.

it has good mysteries and smart humor. It's very enjoyable as is the little village it's set in. I like it a lot. We are watching it and will keep watching until we get to the end of Season 2. I hope they make more of these.
