Fleetwood Mac's best-selling album, and, quite possibly, one of the best albums ever recorded. Rumors is a compilation of heartbreak.

During the making of the album, each member of the iconic group was going through relationship problems. John and Christine MacVie were in the middle of a divorce. Long-time lovers Stevie Nicks and Lindsay Buckingham were embroiled in a nasty break-up, which in all likelihood included Nicks' affair with drummer and founder, Mick Fleetwood.

Lesser bands would have been destroyed by these dramatic events, but the Mac managed to take their anger and pain and pour it into their music. The result was an album full of songs with meaning and depth. Each one a classic. Each one timeless.

I recommend this music because it is classic, enduring, and has universal themes that never go out of style.

From "Dreams" to "Gold Dust Woman", you can't go wrong with this album!
