Tess Monaghan is an unemployed journalist who is hired by her rower friend, Rock, to follow his fiancee and find out why she had been so distant lately. As a result, Rock is arrested for the murder of his fiancee's boss and Tess works to find the real killer.

Someone who likes to find flaws in writing, because this book is full of flaws.

The narrator of the audio book, Deborah Hazlett. She has a very pleasant voice.

The countless flaws throughout the book. Who would hire someone to follow their fiancee who has absolutely no experience and has zero common sense? Why couldn't she just tape record the person confessing to her son murdering an 11-year-old boy? How would that person have been able to deny their own voice on a recording? I don't care how rich they are. Why did the murderer try to kill Tess? She was nowhere near discovering his identity until he made the attempt. Far too many flaws. Also, her lover is murdered (whom she was in love with), but she starts up a romance with someone else?

Get back the time I had spent listening to it.

Frustrated by the countless flaws and lack of character development. It also made me want to hear nothing about rowing for the rest of my natural life.

Needs to work on their research before writing about something they obviously know nothing about.

I don't recommend this book. Don't waste your valuable time.

Spend your time reading something with more substance and less flaws.
