After I watched the horrible Bridget Jones Baby movie, I went back and watched this gem. This is one of the few movies I went to see more than once at the cinema.

It is funny, engaging and romantic. Hugh Grant and Colin Firth are awesome together (as they were in Love Actually) Renee Zelweiger is at her most appealing and funny. This was on Netflix, also. I recommend watching this and skipping the new one.

This is one of my favorite romantic comedies, when Renee Zelweiger looked young and original. I will try to forget the later film.
