I watched this on Netflix Disk. I think it is also available on Streaming.

A woman dressmaker returns from Paris to her rural hometown in Australia (Kate Winselett) As a child she was blamed for a death and sent away so she wants some answers to her questions as she endeavors to take care of her rather obstinate and difficult mother.

She finds she has allies and kind souls helping her in her journey, but she doesn't see this in it's full perspective until it is too late.

I must say the death of the character of "Teddy" ruined this film for me. I did not understand why that had to happen in such a foolish and horrific way after he was so kind to the lead character.

I didn't enjoy the movie because of Teddy's fate.
