*links to first book, but I read the the 3-book collection*

Nothing to add. Amazon nailed that one.

Fans of Harry Potter (obviously). People who like to have canonical reference material around for either writing or disputing fan fiction.

People who like the idea of Pottermore, but don't have enough time to explore it.

The short glimpses into the backgrounds and history of everything from Minerva McGonagall to Hogwart's.

It reads as both short writings and encyclopedia. Most exciting to me, was Rowling's notes on her thoughts while she was creating them.

That I didn't know this existed (how???? I don't know).

There is some redundancy of information insofar as there are things in these books that are discussed, or implied throughout the series. I do like the organized reference. But there was a lot of new stuff for folks who don't have the time for Pottermore.

I would have like more about wands and Olivander, and some other characters.

I would read a whole book, if not a series (at least a trilogy) about Minerva McGonagall.

I mean, right? She's awesome.

*weird thing, I can get this from the library as a 3-set ebook with a totally different cover, but on amazon.com they list the "3 collection" but only as separate books. So I've read all three, but had to link to the first one. It's like the library-rental version is the unicorn of Pottermore.
