Summary of this Book...
This is another book in the Maisie Dobbs' Mystery series. In this one that takes place around the summer of 1932, Maisie goes undercover teaching at a college in Cambridge. The head and founder of the college wrote controversial books in WW I, but all is not what it seems when he is murdered, shortly after Maisie arrives to start teaching on an undercover government assignment. She does was she is assigned to do and also solves the murder in the bargain. Since the death of her mentor, she is now secure financially and can do things to help the people around her, as much as money can do. I liked this episode, but it is not believable that she came to teach and did so well while missing so many classes right at the beginning. That part of it made the whole story a bit questionable. Still, I enjoyed reading that she could help those around her and continue to slowly pursue a real relationship with a man.
