This is the 16th season of Law and Order. We have now watched just about all 20 seasons. Having done that, this is the season that moved me the most.

It includes the loss of a major character at the end.

At first I was reluctant with this show because I do not care for Sam Waterston's acting. He was better in this season, especially the last episode. Otherwise, I think he yells too much and overacts.

Dennis Farina with Jesse L. Martin is a brilliant pairing. I always like the cop part of this show over the lawyer part because unlike this series, most defendants do not testify. I know they need it for the drama, but it just doesn't ring true to me.

Loved this season the best of all. It was the beginning of the end, though, going forward.
