This book brought back a lot of memories from my days playing Dungeons & Dragons. The author did a great job of capturing the dynamics of a group of friends playing together, even as they're dropped into an unexpected situation. The game play was well described without getting too detailed with the numbers or the stats (one of the things I dislike about the LitRPG genre), and the ending left me excited to continue following along with the adventures of these characters.
