I really liked the female empowerment message in this story, and all of the protagonists were well developed and engaging. The antagonists and the narrative, however, were pretty generic all the way down to a corrupt senator conspiring with business titans in a wood-paneled study over drinks and cigars. I would have loved to have seen the same development and ingenuity used for the protagonists applied to the story as well.
