Summary of this Book...
Other than the narrative progressing very slowly and being unnecessarily drawn out, I had two major issues with this book. First, the book description is very misleading. The story is described as humanity and another civilization fighting over a new, terraformed world but the story is told in the form of separate narratives (and timelines) where the humans and the aliens rarely intersect until the very end. Second, the characters aren't interesting at all and I wasn't invested in either the humans' story or the aliens' story. There was a ton of potential in this book but the execution just didn't live up to the hype.
