Summary of this Book...
I do care about grammar and I found everything to be correct in this short book. Yet, it is not a full-fledged, all-including type of a book. So much the better because it focuses on those most common mistakes of newbie writers; for example, the use of commas and semicolons. In addition, it is easy reading, and speaking of my needs, I appreciate the reference list of the transitional words and phrases at the end of the book. The writing style is direct and not boring, with great examples and the author’s experiences and thoughts, and the book is written in good, clear English that anyone—student, novice, or a seasoned author—can understand. I certainly hope to see more such books in other areas of grammar by this author.

Further Comments... | ||
This book is like a pamphlet, no matter how precious the information it contains. I just wish the author would give us a more comprehensive grammar book because she explains everything so well.
