I'm conflicted about this entry in the Space Team saga. On the one hand, it was WEIRD. There were some real bizarre scenes and twists in this one and it a little too strange for my tastes. On the other hand, I still laughed out loud at several points and think this is some of the author's best writing from a technical standpoint. It was really refreshing to see Cal struggle with something emotionally, and to have some of his backstory filled in a little. Overall, I still highly recommend this installment (just like all the books in this series), but be prepared for something that's way more "out there" than the run-of-the-mill space adventures that the team has been going on thus far.
