There were some things I really loved about the book, and some things I didn't. In the plus column, the protagonist is interesting, the narrative keeps moving at a brisk pace, and some of the super powers are pretty imaginative. In the negative column, the argument over whether "Renegades" or "Anarchists" are the good guys gets really tiresome when it's clear that neither one of them is all good or all bad. The villain is pretty one-dimensional and her plan was predictable, and this book ended on a cliffhanger that made the story feel incomplete. I don't mind a little tease for the next installment, but this one felt like the story just stopped part way through. Overall, it was a fun read but I'm not sure I'm invested enough in the series to keep going.
