While the story started a little slow, I really got into both the narrative and the characters. It's been a while since both elements of a thriller have hooked me like this and I really enjoyed it. I've never read anything by Barry Eisler before, but after the quality of this book, I'll definitely be checking out more of his work in the future. Thoroughly recommended for any fan of the genre.
