What this book teaches is wonderful for someone who has no idea what mutual funds are. It begins with saying what mutual funds are and their details as to their management, fees, advantages, and disadvantages.

Then the book talks about the different types of mutual funds in some detail, their risk elements, more details as to fees, tax advantages and the importance of the prospectus that comes with them. It also mentions what mutual funds are not, which I thought was a good move as most investment items are similar in some way.

The presentation of the information is clear and the language is factual and to the point, and the information becomes more detailed as one reads on.

I enjoyed reading this book very much, although most of the information was not new but it proved to be a good review for me.
