Summary of this Book...
This is the final installment in the fantasy/ sci-fi "Throne of Glass" series. It brings together all of the still-living major characters from previous novels into an epic finale. At almost 1,000 pages, it felt more like three whole books but there was an incredible amount of conflict and action and, for me, a very satisfying ending. Although it's billed as Young Adult, I think it would appeal to all adult fantasy/action novel readers who appreciate young people too. Most of the main characters are younger but there are plenty of older characters.
This type of Book is good for...
People who like action, adventure, science fiction and fantasy genres.
I especially liked... | ||
Aelin, Lysandra, Evelin, Manon, Dorian and Chaol's characters.
I didn't like... | ||
Personally, I would have preferred that it were 3 separate books. It's awfully hard to manage such a thick paper book. But I do prefer paper so I worked it out.
This Book made me feel...
Like I was Aelin, fighting to make a better world.
The n/a of this Book... | ||
Hooked me with her first book. I've read the whole series now.
I recommend this Book because...
It was fantastic. | ||
I don't recommend this Book because...
The only thing is that I'd recommend reading the rest of the series in order first. They really do build on each other.
Further Comments... | ||
I borrowed the hardcover version of this book from my local library.
