Something about faeries living in the UK. Hard pressed to remember anything memorable about any of the characters, the story, or the setting.

People who like urban fantasy so much they overlook boring story and characters?

Putting the book down.

Pretty much everything.

Honestly, it just wasn't that interesting. It was a perfect example of someone who prizes "atmosphere" and setting details over character and story.

Usually I like urban fantasy stories, and unique takes on mythology, but I couldn't get into this book. I wanted to like it, but after trying to start it several times and then only getting about a quarter of the way through when I sat down and forced myself to keep reading, I have to conclude that I'm just not that into it. The characters and story just didn't do it for me at all.
