Summary of this Book...
Humanity has a new planet to settle on but something something not as it seems and blah blah blah surprises and twists at every turn. To be honest, I didn't really finish it for reasons that will be detailed below.
This type of Book is good for...
Readers with nerves of steel who don't get dissuaded by a minefield of typographical errors and crimes against book formatting.
I especially liked... | ||
The premise? | ||
I didn't like... | ||
The fact that I couldn't get into the story at all because the formatting was so poor and completely distracting. Different fonts and sizes, typos galore, poor sentence structure, etc. I'm not a stickler for these things and even I wanted to buy the author a copy of Strunk & White after trying to read this.
When I finished n/a this Book I wanted to...
Offer to loan the author the money to take an ebook formatting course or buy Vellum.
This Book made me feel...
Like the bar for self-publishing is still set really, really low.
The n/a of this Book... | ||
Really needs to hire someone to do his book formatting for him.
I don't recommend this Book because...
I couldn't get through it due to all the technical issues.
Further Comments... | ||
I have a feeling I would have liked this story more if there weren't so many technical errors. The version that downloaded to my Kindle had tons of typos, different fonts, sizes, etc. throughout the first several chapters and made it really difficult to get into the story. I wanted to like this book and thought the quality of the writing itself was okay, but just couldn't get into the story because the technical issues were so distracting.
