Summary of this Book...
Murder, mayhem, music. Agnes Nitt is set to become one of Discworld's Witches, but first Sir Terry is going to put her through her paces at the opera house - there's a ghost on the loose, lots of 'accidents' and a very large chandelier that someone really ought to keep an eye on.
This type of Book is good for...
Comedy, satire, fantasy.
I especially liked... | ||
Greebo the cat not being a cat. Granny and Nanny are two of my favourite Discworld characters, and DEATH and the librarian make more than a few cameos too.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Read the next Discworld novel, and watch Phantom of the Opera, because who doesn't love the original AND the parody?
Further Comments... | ||
Not my favourite Discworld novel, but still a very entertaining romp around Ankh-Morpork and a wonderful parody of Phantom of the Opera.
