Summary of this Book...
My Heart Is Not Blind shows how people who are blind from birth or very near birth to those who lose their sight in childhood and adulthood cope with a world not created for people with limited vision or blindness. Their hearts and spirits are vibrant and see things sighted people may miss or not pay any attention to as they go about their day. Surprisingly some people would have a unique answer to "if you could get your sight back, would you want to do so?" This book gives the reader insights to the details of daily living of different people in different geographic areas, cultures, and social situations. You get to know how these people see their world and how they manage to enjoy life and their passions.

Further Comments... | ||
This is an inspiring book that would possibly encourage someone who recently experienced vision loss. Depending on their circumstances and where they are in their adjustment it could be an issue if introduced when the person is not yet ready for this information. Otherwise it is an uplifting and joyful book to read.
