Summary of this Book...
In book 3 of the All Souls Trilogy, Diana’s and Matthew’s original quest is complicated by the fact that pages of the manuscript, Ashmole 782, are missing. So after finding the manuscript, they have to find the missing pages. In this book, they return back to their own time to be confronted with sorrow (someone in the family has died), betrayal, revenge and torture – much torture inflicted on them by a very diabolical family member!. Also, Diana, who isn’t supposed to be able to get pregnant by a vampire, is pregnant with twins. They seek justice against the witches and vampires who harmed them, and the law against mixed-species marriage is abolished.

This type of Book is good for...
Anyone who loves a good love story, who enjoys reading about the strength we can conjure out through love.
I especially liked...
I really enjoyed Chris's visit and his interactions with Matthew (that scene was quite humorous), and the wonderful changes that Diana goes through. I like how Diana's and Matthew's inner circle grows and develops into a loving mixture of species from all walks of life. There is also an underlying message that true power is within.
When I finished n/a this Book I wanted to...
Take a moment and breathe, to reflect on all that I had experienced alongside the characters and relish in the successes they gained and the changes they made
This Book made me feel...
Satisfied. This book brought me full circle – back to the beginning, to Matthew’s home and family, that had grown. The series was definitely complete, so I felt fine saying goodbye to the characters I’d come to know and love.
The n/a of this Book...
wrote a wonderful tale artfully showing that separating the species (or races) harms them, and that allowing them to mix encourages new strengths.
I recommend this Book because...
This is my favourite book of the trilogy. It is full of excitement from the mournful opening to the victorious ending.
