The book is easy to read and easy to understand. It gives a lot of insight into the schizophrenia.

Stories like these are never easy to read. They are heartbreaking because schizophrenia is not easy to deal with.

There is a mini series about the book out. I think it's on HBO Max. I watched about 2 episodes and it follows the book pretty well. You will find several YouTube videos about the book as well.

Working as a 911 dispatcher, I get calls all the time from family members who simply CANNOT deal with their schizophrenic family member. The book opens a door and can start dialogue about this topic. The book sheds light on the genetics of schizophrenia, how it takes away the quality of life from the person suffering with it, but also from the family members dealing with it. The book will also inspire solutions that family members can undertake.
