Summary of this Book...
I think this is my new favourite book of 2024! I absolutely loved it.

You can hear Alison Steadman through every line she’s written. Her voice shines through with warmth and humour. She also speaks of tough subjects and is very honest about some of those. And it makes me admire her even more.

Whether you know Alison Steadman from 'Gavin & Stacey,' where she is hilarious as Pamela Shipman, or from the wonderful 'Abigail's Party' there will be something in this book to make you smile. Personally, I think the first memory I have of her is when she was Mrs Bennet in 'Pride & Prejudice.' She was so forceful and memorable as that character. She really has the most amazing comic timing. And that also comes through in this book. She is very funny.

This is such a great, feel-good read, and I’m so glad I picked it up.
