Summary of this Book...
On a flight from Hobart to Sydney, an older woman suddenly starts predicting the cause and age of the death of some of the passengers. Faced with this unwanted information, these passengers will have to suddenly deal with their own mortality. Interwoven between chapters of the fate of these people is the story of the woman who caused all the havoc.
I especially liked... | ||
I love Liane Moriarty's writing. Her stories are, to me, at once intimate and broad-sweeping. This book is no exception. One of the reasons I like the way the author writes is how well she develops her characters. We all have something to hide. Sometimes, we're so good at hiding them we also hide them from ourselves.
I didn't like... | ||
I felt like the author ran out of steam on this book. Some of the characters we came to know rather well just kind of dropped off the map. Not entirely, but I wanted more details. I also feel like it was a real stretch on the circumstances that led to the pronouncements on the plane, as well as a bit anticlimactic.
I recommend this Book because...
It's a good story. Perhaps not her best, but still very interesting.
