Lila is newly divorced. She wrote her bestselling book about keeping a marriage alive and thriving at the same time her husband was cheating on her with another woman.

While she's finding her way in this new life of hers, pressure mounts from her agent to write another book. Seems doable; Lila certainly needs the money.

I found myself rooting for all of the characters, even the ones I wasn't supposed to like. Because after all, they are human too.

It's an entertaining read and also makes us think.

I am a fan of Jojo Moyes. "Me Before You" made me ugly cry. So did "The Girl You Left Behind." This book isn't a tearjerker, but it is entertaining and worth a read.

Life is worth living. All of it. Even the messy parts.
