Summary of this Book...
Temperance Brennan has clear memories of her time on Pawley Island where she met her friend Evangeline. They spent many happy summers together until one day Evangeline disappeared from Temperance's life. The adults told her nothing. Many years have passed. Temperance is a coroner in Montreal. Some bones have appeared. Could they be those of her long lost friend?
This type of Book is good for...
Really interesting combination of police procedure and medical stuff. This is book 10 in a series by the author. 10 of 24, according to Amazon!
I especially liked... | ||
Temperance is such a sympathetic character. I really liked her humanness. She's smart as a whip, and gets herself deep into things she really has no business being a part of. I think that's what makes her so likeable.
I didn't like... | ||
That I started mid-series! It won't take away starting back at book one, but I like things in order. :)
When I finished n/a this Book I wanted to...
Go back to Book 1 | ||
This Book made me feel...
I learned a lot during the reading of this book. About Canada. About leprosy. About detecting linguistics in writing samples. All fascinating stuff.
I recommend this Book because...
Start at Book 1! If this book is anything to go by, the entire series will be a fantastic read.
