Shari Lapena just gets better and better! I loved this book.

It begins with a mystery — Where is Bryden Frost? Bryden fails to collect her daughter from pre-school, and when her husband Sam gets home, all her belongings are exactly where they should be. It’s as though she has just vanished into thin air.

Once her body is found, the novel switches to a psychological thriller, trying to find out ‘whodunnit.’ There are a few suspects, and we don’t learn until the very end who it was. It’s a clever plot. It kept me guessing.

If you enjoy psychological thrillers: read this. If you like ‘whodunnit’ mysteries: read this. If you like delving into characters and why they are as they are: read this. What more can I say? 😀
