This Book made me feel...

The author of this Book...
Has written several other titles and one of those, "Any Human Heart" was made in to a UK TV drama some years ago. This book has a sequel - "The Predicament" which was only released last month.
I recommend this Book because...
The story is engaging and interesting and has some twists in it - this makes you want to keep reading to find out what happens next so it is very moreish. There are many great characters in the book, Gabriel Dax himself is a very likeable character, and his interactions with others seem genuine and heartfelt. The writers style is engaging and pleasing to read.
Further Comments... | ||
Although not part of the plot itself, and something which results in providing the setting/background for the events taking place, I loved that the main character in the book, Gabriel, is a travel writer and therefore there is much focus on his travels and the countries and places he visits, including the guest houses he stays in and the many restaurants and cafes he frequents, and the drinks he imbibes! I think Gabriel Dax and I would have much in common
