Summary of this Book...
Well, this book was not good. I know people say it is not written for "people like me" but does that mean a book has to be poorly written like this? Plot holes everywhere, the laws of magic set up are constantly broken, a forced love triangle where it is even more obvious than 'Twilight' who is going to be selected, a convoluted story, "twists" that do not make logical sense... Add to this poor description and some poor writing (where was the editor? "alter" used instead of "altar"? seriously?) and it treats its audience like they are not worth putting an effort in.
This type of Book is good for...
People with very undemanding tastes.
I especially liked... | ||
The concept was an interesting one that could have been great in more skilled hands.
I didn't like... | ||
The writing, the characters, or the way things were set up and established.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Throw it away. The audience this was aimed for deserve writing as good as everyone else, not this.
This Book made me feel...
Bored and not a little angry.
The author of this Book...
Treats the audience with some contempt.
I don't recommend this Book because...
It is poorly written and plotted. Get Collins' 'The Hunger Games' and see how this sort of YA fantasy can be done well.
