I am originally from St. Louis, MO. but now live in Middle Tennessee. I retired from the U.S. Army in 1988 after 23 years. I have been a musician, composer and songwriter virtually all my life, having written about 700 songs so far. I compose and perform in just about all genres except Rap and Classical/Opera. I started writing novels about 5 years ago. After all, the lyric of a song is a book in a hundred words or less...try doing that! I enjoy the novel writing tremendously.
My preferred genres to read and write are Humor and Drama.
I am free-style writer...meaning I generally stick to the "rules" but have no problem bending them if necessary.
My interest are writing, music composition and performing, baseball and traveling.
Just a music homepage, don't have one for writing yet: http://www.soundclick.com/alanddavid
