About Me
I am a painter and writer who has published two Young Adult novels based on my Cuban roots. I was born in Havana and at the age of eight, witnessed the soul shaking, second Cuban revolution then my brothers and I left the country alone. Distance from home and family caused gravity to lose it's grip, and I learned to float, I became an artist. I live in New york city with my family, Chico the dog, and the paintings in the museums that have kept me enchanted for the last thirty years.
