About Me
I turned 64 years old on February 14. I've been single and childless all of my life but have "mothered" many pets. Having grown up as a Christian, I did not have a difficult life and lived with my parents until they died. Now, I am working on my childhood passion and hope to make a reputation for myself as a children's book author.
Type of Writer
I mostly write short stories and poems for children, but also write religious inspirational pieces.
Writing Style
My poems rhyme most of the time unless I do an acrostic.
Interests
I like all artistic forms and have dabbled in many, but writing is the one that will not let me go.

Favorite Genres
Religion and Historical Fiction would be my favorites now. Growing up I was big on horses and sci-fi.
Favorite Books
I don't have favorite books. I am often reading as many as three simultaneously, because my interest shifts.
Favorite Authors
I was heavily into Sci-fi and liked H. G. Wells a lot. Edgar Allan Poe, and Mark Twain come to mind but I pay more attention to the stories than the authors. I have no favorite contemporary author.
Favorite Poets
Dr. Seuss is my idol for children's poetry. I do not choose favorite poets so much as choosing the poems I like best. The fact that many will be by the same authors is simply due to their style appealing to me.
Favorite Quote
I don't have any.
Favorite Music
Oldies and old show tunes, not the current music from today's musicals.
Favorite Movies
I don't have any currently. I like all of the big epic Biblical films and musicals, i.e. King of Kings, My Fair Lady and I liked Gone With the Wind, (Didn't everybody?).
