Born in Barnsley, a once mining town in northern England, I nevertheless grew up in the English seaside resort of Skegness, when my family moved there with my father's carpet business. Lazy at school, I left to work, initially for my Dad, then mostly in manual labour, such as within factories. Finally, at 39, I managed to get a job tutoring within Community Learning Centres, having learned computer, skills. At 43, I decided I needed new impetus, a new location. I now teach in Thailand. |
Currently focusing mostly on non-fiction, regarding my life in Thailand, I like to write in whatever genre takes my fancy. |
