Live in a cabin in 1792. A man Moses Taylor in his early teens joined the War of Independence. A Captain in the Continental Army when he married in 1788 at 21. He retired as Kentucky became the 15th state and was granted claim to a few thousand acres, built his cabin on the Gasper River. Via family my grandma left it for me to be steward. Sold my house left a career at VU law school(IT director)here since 2010 no power, tap water, off-grid(solar\truck)hunt, gather, fish, farm. Wood is heat. |
