A wonky old buzzard, once a blue-collar hick from Indiana - but, not a redneck! I am of Scotch/Irish/Japanese descent and when I get around to writing my autobiography I will title it: "Made in Japan - Assembled in America". I love to read and write and encourage others to do the same. Communication is life and it creates the bulk of the memories we make, share, and remember. So, remember to make some today. I am a family guy with a love for God and creation. |
Prolific, tenacious. Most genres of fiction but primarily non-fiction. Ghostwriting, and some writing about ghosts. |
WIP - still trying to figure it all out. |
God and family; reading, writing, and a little arithmetic - no interest in hickory sticks; cooking, baking, and yes, candlestick making. My pastor tells everyone I have a roofer's card that covers everything. I was raised a tinkerer, repairer, fixer. |
Fantasy;Paranormal;Thriller;Mystery;SciFi;Historical;Steampunk/Dystopian;Poetry... and just about everything else. |
Holy Bible;Don Quixote de La Mancha; Lord of the Rings Trilogy;Present Darkness;Wind in the Willows; and so many more. I love to read just about everything... including biographies, memoirs, and other non-fiction. |
Tolkien;C.S.Lewis;Frank Peretti;Ted Dekker;Ray Bradbury;James Patterson;M.Kenyon Charboneaux;Sylvia K. Hamilton;Billie A. Williams;Robert E. Howard; and whoever I am reading at the time. Which includes many on WDC. |
Psalmist David;Lewis Carroll;e.e.cummings;Maya Angelou;Auden;Whitman;Homer;Isaiah;so many to list or remember... but, I remember their impact upon my heart and soul. |
"Words are thought images clothed in vocabulary." -- Dr. Paul Yonggi Cho "I am less inclined to disagree with you more." -- Dustin LeBise |
Inspirational;Classical;Cajun/Zydeco;Blues;Jazz;Rock;Pop;Show Tunes;Opera;Instrumentals; and just about anything that soothes my soul and makes great background music for writing and reading. Oh, and some Hip-Hop. My son is a Rapper. |
Lord of the Rings;all Marvel Comic based movies;Classic Horror;Passion of the Christ;Comedy and light-hearted spoofs; too many to mention. I love movies almost as much as I love writing. |
