About Me
Hello, my name is Jake and I'm a young lad dwelling in the South Eastern corner of England. I love to use writing to make an idea in my head come to life on the page. Some of my largest inspirations in writing are Shakespeare and Roald Dahl. They had a very dominant role in what I read as a child so their inspirations have grown up alongside me. If you have any comments or reviews don't be hesitant to tell me as it would help me in my writing.
Type of Writer
I write a lot of poetry on my views of current events. Sometimes I enjoy writing prose fiction and short stories as well.
Writing Style
My writing has a very poetic view point. I try to be as detailed as I can with characters and plot.
Interests
My interests follow mainly around anime, manga, fashion and (of course) writing. I am not a huge sports fan, however I am quite a sporty person due to my above par hand-eye-coordination. (Irony is a cruel mistress).
My Blog
Favorite Genres
My favourite genres include- .Fantasy .Dystopian .Sci-Fi .Horror
Favorite Books
I think my all time favourite book (even though it's not really a book) is the Tokyo Ghoul manga. As for characters it hits all the right spots for me and the story it follows is as gripping as honey coated sandpaper.
Favorite Poets
Shakespeare belongs forever in my heart.
Favorite Quote
"Rather than a person who hurts others, become the person getting hurt." -Kaneki Ken (Tokyo Ghoul)
Favorite Music
My favourite genre of music is post-hardcore rock as my favourite band is Hands Like Houses. However I do enjoy Kpop as well.
Favorite Movies
I love the film "Avatar" as the plot, world, characters and detail were all stellar. I also love the film "Let The Right One In" as it just contains the creepiest and eeriest atmosphere. A lot of Studio Ghibli films hold places in my heart.
Favorite Shows
My favourite anime shows are (in no particular order): .Tokyo Ghoul .Natsume Yuujinchou .Psycho pass .to aru hikuushi e no koiuta .Noragami .Zankyou no Terror
