| I was born in Big Springs, Texas raised in Lone Star, Texas. Yes, there really is a Lone Star, Texas. Only had six grades in my hometown so I was bussed to Daingerfield, Texas for junior and high school. Graduated barely but if you do not do your homework you can get into trouble like that. I stayed with geometry for 2 1/2 years because I did not cotton to change. That caused me to not be senior until mid-year. So much for lessons learned. I joined the navy after I learned my draft nr. was #1. |
