My name is Karissa Elizabeth Ann Lowell. I was raised in and around The Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area i.e. Bethesda, Montgomery County, Maryland until November of 1967 when I moved to Rio De Janeiro, Brazil with my family until June of 1969. I attended school in Alexandria, Virginia. I received my GED from the State of Alabama in 1983 and I received my Bachelor Degree in Creative Writing from Long Ridge Writer's School in Long Ridge, Connecticut. |
