I tend to over-analyse things, am generally optimistic and wistful in an 'I want to live in a fantasy world' kind of way.
I'm a frustrated writer, because I'm not as good as I want to be and find it hard to work out technically why.
I'll have a go at anything, haven't worked out whether first or third person is better for me.
Veganism, horse-riding, nature. I like to draw but I'm not very good. Creative things like photography, tapestries and crafts are good ways of passing time. I've done a little silversmithing and would like to do more.
Fantasy, adventure, with a bit of romance. Occasionally Sci-fi. Non-fiction also is inspirational.
Anything and everything by Robin Hobb/Megan Lindholm. Jurassic Park, Harry Potter(s). Pratchett's Discworld.
Robin Hobb is amazing, fantastic, awe-inspiring, tremendous!!!! Michael Crichton is also fab. Terry Pratchett is a legend.
Never been into poetry so I cannot say.
If you cannot set a good example, then at least serve as a terrible warning! (don't know who said it and I don't live life by that rule but it amuses me none the less)
Not rap or dance or Jazz. Anything else is OK, I've never really been into music. CDs I have include Muse, Foo Fighters, Fallout Boy, The Hoosiers...
POTC, LOTR, Plunkett and Macleane, Fifth element, Pride and Prejudice, Shrek(s), Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, and many more along those lines!
