Some of us are good writers, some are not. But writers are artists—and artists should be valued by how much emotion their art holds in their own eyes, not by whether it will sell or not. Emotion is what makes us human, not money or fame. Those are human inventions, and humans do make mistakes. Maybe they’re flawed inventions, but don’t forget—I’m just one man.
