I am by all accounts an odd individual, a hoarder, a serial dater, an avid smoker (and drinker), registered couch surfer, I am diagnosed with autism, and am a lover of nature, as well as online chess. I write because my brain is too small to house all these big ideas. |
Emotional, putrid, charming. ;) |
Poetry of course, as well as online chess and Solitare. I keep a journal, a good one, and have also been getting into quilting as of late. That might change though, there's always the chance these things will go the same way as my knitting phase... |
The Bell Jar- Sylvia Plath (cause I'm basic like that) Tender is the Flesh- Augustina Bazterrica (SO graphic and descriptive, amazing protagonist) I'm Thinking of Ending Things- Iain Reid (genuinely scary, without resorting to shock factor) |
I'll keep you posted. |
Taha Muhammad Ali, all the poems of his I have read have been translated, but the meaning comes through anyway. And they have always floored me |
"It's easy to laugh It's easy to hate, It takes strength to be gentle and kind" -Morrissey |
The album "In Between Dreams" by Jack Johnson is precious to me. My favorite song right now is "The Start of Something" by Voxtrot. |
The Last Unicorn (1982) is easily my all-time favorite I also like "Nightcrawler" with Jake Gyllenhall, I like him alot. "Brokeback Mountain" is great too. |
